Poli-Ticks on Racism in America

i'm a pasty white boy, so there's gonna be a lot of folks who will inevitably say that i'm a racist because i'm white and talking about racism. to those people: stop being racist. saying i can't talk about something because i'm white is the very definition of racism.

anyone notice that jesse "high" jackson and reverend wrong will scream at the top of their lungs that a white man, me for instance, is racist, yet when they get up behind a pulpit and scream about the evils of the white man and how black folks need to dominate white folks, that's tolerant and culturally sensative? please tell me i'm not the only one. is anyone else sick of this double standard? i have not oppressed or enslaved or discriminated against anyone, and yet because i'm white i'm automatically put at a disadvantage? what kind of nonsense is that?

now some people are going to scream at their computer monitors (i don't know why you are reading this) that because i'm white, i have a leg up over disadvantaged black children. well, my question to them is: isn't the reason i have an advantage because i wasn't raised in a broken home, and that it isn't because i'm white and they're black, but because i was fortunate enough to have parents who love each other, and not just disatvantaged black kids, but all disadvantaged kids? by the very nature of my relationship with disadvantaged kids, them being at a disadvantage and all, i automatically start out at a point ahead of them. but that's not my fault any more than it is theirs, so why do i get penalized for it through unfair hiring practices, the United Negro College Fund, the NAACP, the black caucus, and more? it seems to me that the people who are racist ar the ones implimenting these practices, and by that i mean, the democrats.

let's examine some history: the modern democratic party platform was founded in 1830 with the sole purpose of not adressing the issue of slavery. in fact, that was the party's only stipulation at the time, that whoever they endorsed not even mention the issue of slavery. democrats fought tooth and nail to keep blacks enslaved, and then the civil war. democrats passed jim crow, democrats formed the kkk democracts unleashed the dogs and hosed down protesters. and the democrats passed the formed the welfare state and customized it to keep blacks on the government dole and keep them voting for their democrat slavers i mean, saviors. so i'm a racist for advocating equality for all, and success based on merit.

and anyone who supports affirmative action is the worst kind of racist. if you support affirmative action, you are saying that blacks are incapable of securing gameful employment on their own merit when competing for positions with white folks, and what's worse is that you think they require the mighty and benevolent white person to come along and help them to succeed. if there are any black people reading this, do you agree with this sentiment? doesn't this offend you? they are saying that you are inferior to me, and need assisstance to compete.

as far as the college fund and the NAACP goes, it's just proof of the double standard. if i founded the United Whitey College Fund, i'd be lynched in the streets (oh the irony there). and i don't care that black people have the NAACP, what i do mind is that it's not considered racist, but if i founded the NAAWP, look out. and i want to get WET. white entertainment telivision. oh, they don't make that channel? it would be racist? oh, i see. i just want equality, i want everyone held to the same standard. i want the racists to stop calling me racist, and i want the media to stop calling me an extremist. all men were created equal, i want to be treated like it.
